IPFA members, the cities are again launching a campaign to shift the blame for underfunding firefighters pensions onto the General Assembly, firefighters and police officers of Illinois. Enclosed you will find the latest tactic to shift the deficiencies to the people being underfunded by these efforts.

 Enclosed you will find:

• A point by point rebuttal of the issues as presented.  At that meeting.

Please be aware of these efforts to misidentify these issues. Let the IPFA know if your community or a close by community tries to adopt this type of resolution. We will supply rebuttal information or help you to slow or stop these activities before they get out of hand.
